Kids know how to have fun in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is not only for grown-ups. While this sprawling metropolis may be known for its thrilling nightlife and adult-oriented events, the City of Angels boasts a surprisingly large list of family-friendly activities on a charter bus visit. Bypass the typical theme park excursion and head to some of the LA's hidden treasures, where kids and adults will be entertained for hours while on a rental bus trip with a bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus rented from School Bus Charter Rental.
Located a short Los Angeles school bus ride downtown along Museum Row, the Zimmer Children's Museum is a nonprofit facility that features hands-on exhibits for children up to 8 years old. Here kids on a charter bus visit can act out a play wearing one of the museum's costumes or discover different countries using the flight simulator's navigational tools. A range of Jewish-themed exhibits are also on display here, as well as an impressive amount of artwork related to specific themes. If the kids love learning about the world we live in, take them to the California Science Center in Exposition Park. Here, kids learn about people, plants and animals in a range of free exhibits. Learn about the Earth's ecosystem, explore air and space, and take a ride on the three-story high wire bicycle. An IMAX theater is also on site, screening educational 3D movies.
Spend a whole day outdoors and visit some of the Los Angeles area beaches. A short school charter bus ride west of the Los Angeles CBD, kids not only swim and make sandcastles at Santa Monica Beach but they can also take advantage of all the amusements on the pier at Pacific Park and spend an entire day by the seaside. Ride the roller coaster and win a prize at one of the sideshows here, then take a quick meal break before heading back to the shore and getting back on board your charter bus. Travel just south of Long Beach to take the family out to Cabrillo Beach for the day. This relaxing place has two places to enjoy water activities and kids can swim in the area open to the harbor. Pack a picnic and stay until sunset or finish off the day with a charter bus trip to the nearby Cabrillo Marine Aquarium to explore everything from crabs to sea lions.
Rent a charter bus and plan a day at the park with friends and family, where the only thing you need to bring is a packed lunch. Polliwog Park is right at the corner of Redondo Avenue and Manhattan Beach Boulevard, stretching 18 acres and boating a nine-hole disc golf course. This park features a sand area for kids, as well as climbing equipment and a Light House play area with slides and misters. A pond is also on the grounds and families can bird watch or have a picnic by the waterfront. Hopkins Wilderness Park is another place to enjoy the great outdoors while in Los Angeles on a rental bus visit. This 11-acre park features three overnight campgrounds, plus a picnic site. Take the kids on a hike through the forest and meadows, or relax by the streams and pond, just steps from the bustling Camino Real. A cooking center and picnic tables are also available, so make a reservation and pack some hot dogs for a cookout.
