Exploring Wonders at the Museum of Science and Industry

Have you been to the largest science museum in the Western Hemisphere? You really should as it is a wondrous sight to behold with your rental charter bus group, especially in its full size replicas and expansive exhibits. Located in Chicago, Illinois in the Jackson Park, the Museum of Science and Industry is housed in the former Palace of Fine Arts from the 1983 World’s Columbian Exposition. One of the many variety of exhibits, the most popular and exciting ones are the full-size coal mine replica, the large 3,500 square-foot railroad model, the Apollo 8 spacecraft that ferried the first humans to the moon, a German submarine (U-505) that was captured during WWII, and even the first diesel-powered streamlined stainless steel passenger train, the Pioneer Zephyr.

There are more than 2,000 exhibits on display at the Museum of Science and Industry in 75 different halls. One of the permanent exhibits here that mini bus rental visitors can always see is the the Coal Mine. This is an actual replica with a working deep-shaft, bituminous coal mine using equipment fromOld Ben #17 circa 1933.
